Operasi Patuh Lodaya
Kepolisian Daerah Jawa Barat (Polda Jabar) mengumumkan penundaan pelaksanaan Operasi Patuh Lodaya 2026 yang sedianya dijadwalkan berlangsung mulai Senin, 8 Juni hingga 21 Juni 2026. Berdasarkan keterangan resmi Ditlantas Polda Jabar melalui akun RTMC, penundaan ini dilakukan setelah mempertimbangkan situasi dan kondisi terkini di wilayah hukum Jawa Barat, salah satunya karena bersamaan dengan rangkaian menyambut Hari Bhayangkara. Meski jadwal pelaksanaan resmi diundur hingga batas waktu yang akan ditentukan kemudian, pihak kepolisian meminta warga Bandung dan sekitarnya untuk tidak kendor dalam menjaga kedisiplinan berkendara. Saat dimulai nanti, operasi ini akan mengusung tema "Optimalisasi Transformasi Penegakan Hukum Secara Elektronik" dengan porsi penindakan berbasis digital (ETLE) mencapai 80 persen.
Penertiban Kabel Udara Bandung
Wajah Kota Bandung dipastikan akan berubah drastis dalam beberapa bulan ke depan. Pemerintah Kota (Pemkot) Bandung, di bawah kepemimpinan Wali Kota Muhammad Farhan, kini tengah gencar mengeksekusi program penataan estetika kota melalui penurunan kabel udara ke bawah tanah (ducting). Langkah ambisius ini diambil untuk membersihkan langit Bandung dari semrawutnya "kabel semrawut" sekaligus meminimalisir risiko kecelakaan akibat kabel yang menjuntai ke jalan raya. Meski demikian, pelaksanaan mega proyek yang dimulai sejak awal Juni 2026 ini tidak luput dari dinamika. Ketegangan sempat terjadi di lapangan antara tim eksekutor pemerintah dengan sejumlah penyedia jasa internet (ISP) terkait kesiapan infrastruktur migrasi. Target 36 Ruas Jalan Utama di Fase Pertama Merujuk pada Peraturan Wali Kota (Perwal) Nomor 43 Tahun 2023 tentang Penyelenggaraan Saluran Serat Optik Bersama Bawah Tanah, Pemkot Bandung menggandeng BUMD PT Bandung Infra Investama (BII) untuk menyiapkan jalur bawah tanah berupa lubang manhole dan handhole. Pemerintah telah memetakan puluhan titik krusial yang akan dibersihkan dari kabel udara sepanjang tahun ini: Fase Pertama (Target Juni 2026): Memfokuskan penertiban di 36 ruas jalan protokol yang dinilai paling padat dan estetikanya paling terganggu. Target fase ini dipatok rampung pada 18 Juni 2026. Fase Kedua (Target Juli 2026): Penataan akan diperluas ke 13 ruas jalan tambahan. Total Target Akhir: Hingga akhir tahun, Pemkot menargetkan perapihan total di 41 hingga 49 titik jalan utama di Kota Kembang.

Bandung welcomed Idul Adha this year with a calm and communal atmosphere, as prayers were held across all districts and centered at Masjid Al‑Ukhuwah. The city government inspected more than 18,000 sacrificial animals to ensure they were healthy and safe for distribution, and supervision continued through the days of Tasyrik to maintain proper slaughtering standards. In the surrounding regency, the celebrations unfolded alongside seasonal flooding from the Citarum River, where trucks carrying cows for qurban were seen navigating high water levels. Residents also embraced more sustainable practices, with some communities distributing meat in reusable containers to reduce plastic waste.
